Why do auto captions get song lyrics wrong?
Most auto captions are built for speech. Singing stretches words across held notes, blurs consonants and sits on top of music, so a speech captioner drops words, merges lines or falls behind the voice.

Can I add lyrics to a cover or my own song?

How do I fix a wrong word or timing?
Every caption line is editable. Click a line to retype it or change its start and end time, add a new line in any gap, and drag caption blocks on the timeline to reorder them or stretch their timing.

Drag the captions on the video itself to place them — clear of your face, clear of a platform's buttons, wherever they read best. Size, weight and a shadow backing are adjustable, and the colour can be picked up from the video's own palette so the words match the look.
Which languages work?

Step by step
- Open your clip in IchiPitchy Creator Studio. Drop in a singing video in desktop Chrome or Edge. Only the audio is uploaded; the video stays in your browser.
- Clean up the vocal. Tune it if you like, and isolate the vocal from any music so the words transcribe cleanly.
