# Add lyrics to your singing video automatically

To add lyrics to a singing video automatically, open the clip in IchiPitchy's Creator Studio and generate captions in the Subs tab. ## Why do auto captions get song lyrics wrong?

Most auto captions are built for speech. Singing stretches words across held notes, blurs consonants and sits on top of music, so a speech captioner drops words, merges lines or falls behind the voice.
